The Gaz de France athletics meeting starts off the new season at the Stade de France on the 18th July. In this Olympic year, the top athletes will be present.

- Till 14th Sept. 2008 – exceptional presentation of the crystal skull at the Quai Branly museum to mark the screening of the new Indiana Jones film.
- Till 20th July 2008 at the Rodin museum, an exhibition of the works of Camille Claudel.
- Paris will once again take on the look of a seaside resort from 21st July to 21st August with its ‘Paris Plages’. The theme chosen this year is ‘Europe’.

- A musical show will take place at the Palais des Congrès from 2nd July to 13th
July 2008: ‘Mamma Mia’ – centred on the legendary songs of the group ABBA.

- In the Luxembourg gardens (Paris 6th Arr.), the association ‘Open Air Operas’ will present the ‘Tales of Hoffmann’ from 6th June to 14th Sept.

- The Mogador Theatre hosts until 3rd August the musical comedy ‘ The Lion King’, which is directly inspired by the cartoon film. Family entertainment not to be missed!
